OUR HISTORY

As healthcare products become more complex, there is an increasing need for sophisticated integrated dental risk management systems to deal with the myriad of inter-connected claims assessment rules and premium raising algorithms.

In addition, great pressures comes to bear on administrators call centers to explain the results of complicated assessments to an increasingly confused membership and service provider community.

Supplementary Health Services (Pty.) Ltd was established in 2000 to design solutions best suited to the needs and circumstances of our clients.

Kgorogo Healthcare acquired a controlling stake in Supplementary Health Services in February 2011 enabling SHS to be one of few companies in the healthcare sector to be 100% black-owned and managed company.

The company is an accredited managed care organization in accordance with section 58 of the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998 and regulation 15 thereto.
